I have some graphite powder. I want to brush it onto some small plastic items to make a conductive coating?

What is the best liquid to buy to mix with the graphite powder before brush application to my plastic figuresI have some graphite powder. I want to brush it onto some small plastic items to make a conductive coating?
In my experience the only adhesive one can use for polythene/nylon types of plastic is a contact adhesive (eg. Evostick), this can be thinned with cellulose thinners to apply a thinner coating as the glue is very glutinous in its supplied form.

This mix can be used on other plastics, including thermoplastics, but with caution, the solvent in the glue reacts with the plastic and can destroy the moulding if the section is thin, diluting the glue with thinners accelerates the drying process and should prevent the long drying times of the raw glue, thus reducing the invasive action.

Applying a coat of the graphite to the semi dried coating by dusting with a soft brush with a gentle stippling action should do the trick, leave any excess powder in place until fully dried, gentle warmth will help, when dry, rub the surface powder gently to consolidate the coating, this should also improve the electrical continuity.

These are guidelines, and experiments should be used to refine the process and to gain experience. As you have not described the uses you wish to apply this process to, it is difficult to be specific.

WARNING - This adhesive and the thinning medium are HIGHLY FLAMMABLE, do not smoke, no naked flame, good ventilation is necessary, Inhalation of the fumes are the equivalent of glue sniffing, so please, use with caution.I have some graphite powder. upva glue, or depending on aplication, you could use araldite.

and dont forget to key the suface or itll just peel away.
If you mix the graphite powder with some type of glue or liquid, you will in turn coat the individual graphite particles and insulate them. I know there are electrically conductive adhesives, or you could also use industrial silver paint, but it is expensive
I suggest you don't mix it with anything. Instead apply a thin film of glue to the figure then sprinkle the graphite on top.
