How do i powder coat on site?

I dont think it can be done on site. the clue is in the name ';powder coat'; the item to be coated is cleaned then coated in polymer powder then baked in an oven to melt the powder into a film of plastic bonded to the itemHow do i powder coat on site?
Well without knowing the size of the components that you are talking about, You can use a regular conventional oven like the one in your house. Would recommend a old one because you won't want to use it for cooking after you've cured your parts in it. 400 degrees is all you need. Good Luck !!

You will also need to energize the piece of whatever you are powder coating. The powder sticks before baking due to an electric charge.
How big of components? You can buy a small oven made for heating the powder coat. Where you do intend to spray though? You would have to spray on site also since the powder coat really isn't stable until its heated. You would have tough time transporting the items without screwing up the coating.

Its not possible to do without an oven to cure the powder.


You could try to use hammer rite paint as it gives a finish that is close to powder coating.
Impossible, it's the heat that makes the process (melting the plastic powder) work!
sorry mate, unless you can bake the components powder coating isn't a suitable coating, try a good quality two pack paint
