Cookies made of nuts coated in powdered sugar?

During Christmas, I ate these delicious little powdered sugar-coated cookies. They are a light brown or tan color and look almost like knot cookies. My friend told me they are made primarily of grinded up nuts? I need the name of these cookies! Does anyone know ?Cookies made of nuts coated in powdered sugar?

It depends on what kind of nuts were used. Those listed above are made with mostly walnuts or pecans, or cookies called amaretti are made with ground almonds. All of them are delicious!
Pecan Balls, Mexican Wedding Cookies, Russian Tea Cakes - different names for the same things. Here's the recipe I like -
